Learn the legends and mysteries behind these colossal masterpieces as you explore the complex.

Stop at a scenic viewpoint for a panoramic photo opportunity overlooking all three pyramids, then continue to the majestic Great Sphinx, standing guard over the plateau with its timeless expression.

Authentic Egyptian Lunch – Koshary

• The sleeper train journey takes approximately 13 hours and includes a simple dinner and breakfast. You may want to buy snacks before boarding.
• Interior passages inside the pyramids are narrow and warm; not recommended for travelers with claustrophobia.
• Expect hot conditions and limited shade, especially in summer. Wear light clothing, bring sun protection, and carry plenty of water.
• Entry to the Great Pyramid of Khufu may be available for an additional fee, but it can occasionally be closed.

• Your felucca experience is basic but authentic. You’ll sleep on deck on a mattress; blankets are provided, but bringing a sleeping sheet or sleeping bag is recommended.
• From October to March, nighttime temperatures can drop to 5°C, so pack warm layers.
• The felucca depends entirely on the wind, so the route may vary depending on weather and currents.
• A shared bathroom facility is available onboard.
• Mosquito nets are provided, but insect repellent is highly recommended.
• you could enjoy the sailing the whole day and watch the sunset then return to the hotel to have your overnight there (with an extra charge but you should arrange this before the trip starts)

This morning, journey deep into the ancient world as you explore the treasures of Thebes on Luxor’s West Bank. Traveling by private minivan, you’ll uncover some of the most iconic and historically rich sites in Egypt.

Colossi of Memnon

Your first stop is the towering Colossi of Memnon—two monumental 17-meter statues that once guarded the entrance to the mortuary temple of Pharaoh Amenhotep III. Carved from massive granite blocks, these statues have stood watch over the Theban landscape for more than 3,400 years.

The Valley of the Kings

Continue to the legendary Valley of the Kings, the royal burial ground of the New Kingdom pharaohs. Hidden beneath the golden desert hills are more than 64 elaborately decorated tombs, including those of Ramses, Seti, and other great rulers.

Explore three of these remarkable tombs with your leader, who will bring their stories to life and explain the meaning behind the vivid paintings, symbols, and hieroglyphics that line the walls.
